Quantum computing devices

Quantum computers use quantum bits, or qubits, which have been proven to process certain types of problems and information more effectively than a conventional digital computer. This offers a new and powerful method of solving problems or tackling large-scale challenges that conventional computers struggle with. Examples include machine learning; image recognition; optimization such as for maximizing the return from a financial portfolio or for the movement of goods in a network; number factorization and mathematical problem solving.
